Write one leaf in which you have your revenge.-or...
Since sometimes revenge is best served cold, and that being, occasionally, all the honesty one can muster, thrown in the face of the one who hurt you, here is a little stream of consciousness about what a girl might say to the guy she never stopped loving, who never knew…..until now. I miss you, so much sometimes that it hurts to breathe. I loved you enough to give you up, but I hate myself...

Re: Write one leaf about something you will not...
Nuts/nut product. Never. When I was young I was severely allergic (yes, you can grow out of/into allergies) and so I never had any. This is more difficult than most realize, because some baked goods have almond oil. Anaphylactic shock, anyone? Or candies that had the ‘this was made in a factory with nuts’ label? Those little labels barred me from a LOT of treats. So I stayed away from...

Re: Write one leaf about hidden treasure
dizzlesmapps: ciaran913: I have always thought that most people seriously underrate books. Sure, they buy (and maybe even read) their textbooks, or pick up the latest craze (LOTR, HP, even Twilight), but I find most aren’t willing to search for a truly good read. A book doesn’t need large amounts of media play to be great. To be recognized at large as being great, sure. But not to actually be...

Re: Write one leaf about finding clues.
I never understood the fascination with Blues Clues. I mean, it was a stoner show for children! Steve sits around, talking with his dog and inanimate household objects, hallucinating about floating pictures. Sober? I think not. (via writeoneleaf)

Salem Similarities
She is terrified and crucified People stare, but they don’t cry She is the sacrifice Offered up to save some lives This is here and this is now And they have to make a choice Between love and hate Between support and condemnation Her eyes so accusing As her body shows the bruising Of the torture. But it’s not over Cause she still has yet to die Giving up her life For the comfort,...

Poetry....
….is soul-singing exultation and heart-breaking sorrow. It is effervescent dreams and harsh realities. Poetry allows people to cope with whatever happens to be occurring in their lives at that moment; it brings out all their good times and bad, promises the future. It dangles tantalizing images in the forefront of your mind, dancing them around and around to never-ending delight; then, an...

Cambreadth Redux
Screech of metal Smell of blood Light off steel And tightened glove Running out And you fight As you shout the chilling cry, How many of them can we make die? Screech of defiance Smell of death Light off eyes And deadened face Breath short And dropped blade As you sob the final cry, Is it really my time to die?

Re: Write one leaf about blowing bubbles.
Back, far far back, in elementary school, by which I mean kindergarten exclusively, one of my favorite after school activities held at the care center was blowing bubbles. They’d set up this huge trough full of liquid soaps, and they gave us wands and other odd implements (by which I mean I can’t quite recall) and us little kids just played and played. We had strings and hoops, so...

Re: Too Young
I have to agree. Since coming to college, the amount of people I’ve met in relationships like this has been staggering. Barely out of high school, and already these kids want to jump right into being adults; it’s like they don’t care, or realize to care, about the whole transition phase that takes place, between high school and married life. They don’t have jobs, or a job...

As To Endymion-Metaphysical Poem Exploration
We dance like planets in their orbits And I am drawn to you much the same Though people may play around With you for me this is no game Tarry not and come ye hither Fear not the moon’s soft rays Unlike flowers which will wither Heavenly bodies always stay We fade in together You into me and I into you Leave out all the rest One joined, not two As our worlds collide worries divide ...

Blurring Boundaries
I am myself, in all my grandiose ability I see all, know all, am all I am you and you are me Bound to each other in irreversible reciprocity What I give to you, I give to myself What I take from you, is taken from me In all this cosmos—We are stable We are free, we are, we are, we are Alive! A breath of wind causes us to lift our heads The howling storm makes us tremble Running...
